I want you to STOP working out and start WORKing on your diet!

As crazy as that may sound it might be the only way to get you to think about the effects that your food has on your body!

Let's think about this for a minute, most people workout to improve body composition ( lose weight, gain muscle, improve definition). So, they will put in long hard hours at the gym without seeing the results from their hard work! While those same people are "trying" to watch what they eat, will justify eating more or eating unhealthy things because they deserve it since they workout all the time! The biggest thing that kills me to hear is when I hear runners say "I run so I can eat whatever I want"! Usually those people aren't exactly healthy just because they run all the time. If you don't respect your body and what goes into it as much as you care about how it looks, then all the time in the gym or on the road is in vein.

I know this seems a little off from my positive uplifting emails, but its time for a wake up call! We can't keep falling into a cycle of dieting, losing weight, gaining weight, losing weight, putting it back on! We live in a country that centers its social gatherings around food. We have grown up with comfort foods which we develop a deep connection to, and makes us feel joy and loved. It's very important in human nature to have those connections and memories of loved ones or special times, but we have grown to want and have those types of foods that are comforting and usually unhealthy EVERYDAY! This is leading to your scale not moving or your jeans not fitting even though you have been working out ALL THE TIME, but aren't as diligent to your diet "because its too hard". 

Believe me working out will DRAMATICALLY help improve your body composition, but if you are not 100% dedicated to improving your diet then you might as well not even workout. You can GAIN so much from just changing your relationship with food from being PLEASURE to being FUELWe eat to LIVE, not live to EAT
